Richard, Richard, Twitter ye not. "Grossly offensive"?

The bottom line is, you sell books about how people get together and murder one another. Might that not be construed as offensive? If there's one lesson to be learned, it is that war is utterly evil and good people should seek its end without compromise. That war continues to provide, albeit vicariously, a source of entertainment to men who contradict what is clearly intended as a ludicrous parody of stereotyping is merely evidence of humanity's continuing moral perversity and, by the way, you need to get that boil on your bum seen to.

Ps. I bet you collect military memorabilia.

Speaking as a vaguely liberal, Osprey reading, 37 year old father of 2 I have to say I find your prejudices ill-informed. As an Osprey employee who regularly meets with our customers on both sides of the Atlantic I am in a position to say that Osprey (and Military history) readers don't conform to any particular stereotype or group (although they are mostly blokes) and continually demonstrate the importance of understanding our military past better. The current predicament in Afghanistan is a excellent example of what happens when lessons are forgotten. For a post about why we study it why not go here:
